Mr. Joydeep Majumder, the Founder, Chairman & Managing Director of Arpita Agro Products Pvt. Ltd. and Proprietor of Joy Majumder & Co. , is a seasoned entrepreneur whose career spans nearly four decades across real estate development, manufacturing, and diversified business operations.
In 1985, Mr. Majumder entered the real estate sector, long before Kolkata’s modern housing demand took shape. His early understanding of the market’s evolving needs allowed him to pioneer affordable yet quality-driven homes for the emerging middle class. Recognising the region’s potential, he formally established Arpita Agro Products Pvt. Ltd. in 1992, followed by Joy Majumder & Co. in 1995, expanding the group into both manufacturing and large-scale construction.
